We’ve designed a farm to table experience for campers between the ages of 10 and 17 in Highgate, Vermont less than 45 minutes from Burlington.
Part 3 on our Grape Trellis Project. Our wire tension system is covered in this segment. This Trellis is seriously over kill for what we need. But, it looks nice and wasn’t to expensive. We may add a more traditional looking wood work trellis behind them but don’t know yet. -Acres of Reed

I have begun using Growbags for transplanting, rather than using plastic containers. They are much less expensive, and very easy to work with. I like the bag in a tub system because it allows me to keep a constant supply of water to the bottom of the plant . This could be applied to most any variety of transplants, regardless of what type of vegetable garden you have. But if you’re using this outside, make sure you have drain holes on the sides to prevent the tub from filling up with rain water.

We planted this white onion before we planed on even doing a garden. This onion was the seed The Lord used to open our eyes to the fact we could garden in the city. It may sound silly to some, but for us we just didn’t think we could. How wrong we were! Thank you God for enlightening us to this labor of joy. Point of interest, you do NOT have to wait for the onion to dry before eating it. You can clean it and eat right from the ground. Letting it sun dry for 2 or 3 days is for long term storage. Done right, a dried onion will last 6+ months. -Acres of Reed
